I have been working very diligently on a project and after spending about 2 days working on it, its finished and it turned out very very goodhow it was madefirst i did a duct tape wrap of my body and got the whole mold, after that was all cut off, i went and got some PVC piping and kind of made a skeleton.. i layed that inside the suit and taped it in. then! after buying about 7 or 8 newspapers, we stuffed the hell out of it. first it came out crooked.. which is why it took so long. but after taping more newspaper to certain spots it started evening out. I still need to add some mass to his chest or back area. I even made little pvc feet for him.. and he can stand all by himself.. which totally amazed me.the dummy is 6'5 tall.. which is about an inch taller than i am and is standing right next to my computer in the living room. My brother and his girlfriend were freaked out by it because they thought it was me in my costume and all the lights were turned out.The best thing about this.. He is posable.. his arms move up or down, side to side.. and its crazy. Cost me under 25 bucksbought about 5 rolls of duct tape from wal mart for 2.88 a pop2 pvc 3/4 inch pipes = 2.70 somethingall the joints and connectors were about 8 bucksI am very proud of it, and i really wanted to share it with you all!let me know what you think! The first one is the making of the duct tape suit.. makes it look like i have a huge beer belly lol<img src=\"http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/38/l_7ad8c0bab3d04edca353b9a4b9ab0620.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/36/l_5b860080cf1445188a64423fd71df58a.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/17/l_ffc7b8947cb340a882c937f2880f2899.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/44/l_7876668747fc48e89197b72aa5924441.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

that is really cool <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> . hey have you thought about getting some of those thick pipe cleaners and using them for fingers so you can pose them and maybe for the hand part , shape a piece of styrofoam and just stick the pipe cleaners in that ? he might even be able to hold one of those light knives too but just a thought . mike,

yea, me and the girlfriend are coming up with all kinds of ideas to make his fingers/glove poseable.. right now were using wire coathangers, currently we are just still curious about how to attach them at the base. using coathangers its gonna experience alot of tension and stress and whatnot. maybe glue, nylon string, bending the wire back over the string and glue it down again then wrap it again.. that way it wont shift or pull off if its bent over the string.

Try and foam fill your gloves. Then poke cut straight pieces of metal coat hangers in each finger through the foam so it is held in place. That will keep shape and still be poseable.
