Johnny Skeleton Makeup - JBUNGIE - 10-22-2008

Need some advice on how to attack this as I have never done face makeup before. Some of the site tutorials I have read say to cover your entire face in white then add black on top, but some say to use white where needed then add the black around eyes etc.<img src=\"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/JBUNGIE/johnny.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Any help would be greatly appreciated..I dont want it to look crappy!

just apply white cream makeup all the way around the face such as the pictures show, but not nessesarilly right up on the eyesthen take black cream makeup and apply it around your eyes with a brush, latex sponge, or even your finger....you can do the same to your nosebut for the teeth, you will need the pint crayons they sell at halloween stores, they arent much and they are good for small, specific details

Cool..thanks. I actually picked up a couple of those crayons. How about the nose? Should I tape it off? The nose in the picture looks perfect..tight lines. Also I have read to dab powder on your face to get a clean look..can I use talc or baby powder? Thanks again for the help.

Another way is to leave the eyes and nose flesh color, and fill them in black. for the teeth, you can cover in white then, use a cotton swab to remove the white, where the black will go. That is how KISS does the edges of their makeup.Try to find some translucent powder also. Translucent powder will help stop the smearing of makeup, and won't mute the colors too much.Pat

definitely use powder like pat mentioned already. Translucent if possible but talc will work as well. This will seal the makeup and keep it from sweating off and smearing easy.take care,Tommy
