Are you drifting down the river of depression? What happened to you?

I'm not really much for posts like this, but at the same time, most of us are human on this board, and sometimes you just need someone to hear you out. That said, here goes: In short, and not to sound cold (don't really know the whole story), just keep yourself busy to keep your mind off the topic. That's really the best thing you can do. We've all been through this at some point, so things will turn for the better. If she she says doesn't want anything to do with you, do not prolong the problem or try to contact her. You only hurt yourself more. Moving on is your best (and only true) option. And most importantly, whatever it was, when you're not as down or upset, try to figure out what exactly happened, the factors surrounding the problem, and try to learn from it to better your situations later. All the best,Adam

thanks, theres only one small problem. i have to see this person every week when im at church. that makes it even harder. the whole situation makes my stomach ill just thinking about it, ive never gotten that close to somebody before. it actually kept me away from the forums for awhile, thats how serious it was.Nick

Pray from home and go back to church when you've made peace with the whole situation.

Why... - Dr Channard - 10-24-2008

we've all been there...just go about your business - go to church but don't go up to her or look at her obviously - dont call her or you will push her away more - if you act like she doesn't matter she MAY come back...most importantly, get your mind off of her by doing other things... good luck bro - Matt
