Please Buy One! - caidenzakk - 11-18-2008 Come on! you guys are breaking my heart. I still have not sold one of these. I think $99 is a great price for a quality, original, one of a kind sculpt. Please Buy One! - benny1636 - 11-18-2008 Im not trying to be a dick or nothing man just trying to give you a couple tips, but I dont know much so take it tounge and cheek. I suggest you resculpt it to change a couple things. I'd make the right eye (The good eye) small, i'd make the nose more pronounced, and i'd not make the whole thing so shiny. Just what I think would make it a little better, its still worth 99$ though as it is. Please Buy One! - Snoballz - 11-18-2008 I think the paint looks great. I like the tones of the skull. Please take this as constructive criticism, but the sculpt is pretty sharp and angular. The features should be more round and organic. Please Buy One! - Mutilated - 11-18-2008 Wouldn't you rather people buy it because it looks good rather than for sympathy reasons? If you want my honest opinion, you should just resculpt it and spend more time on it making it look more realistic. Cartoonish looking things don't sell well at all. I think the most you'll sell these for are about $50, maybe a tad more. Please Buy One! - sirbrad - 11-24-2008 Yeah begging for sales should tell you something about a product. The details look good and the skull etc, but it looks like a cartoon Jason if Jason at all. You can't expect your first sculpts to be perfect and to sell right away, it is something that needs to be constantly redone and perfected. Im just surprised that no one wants originality these days. its all about "screen accuracy" every part 7 mask that I have seen is supposed to be screen accurate. I guess im the only one with balls enough to try something different. I would be very surprised if anyone could sculpt something of this caliber the first time the ever put thier hands on clay. the only thing that looks cartoony to me is the eye, Obviously I purposely exaggerated the features. IMO it is an unbelievable sculpt, and I am very proud of it, I am starting my next sculpt very soon and it will be a myers. Please Buy One! - IbDaToNeGuY - 11-24-2008 i think it's a very nice original take and damn great for being your first sculpt . i really like the spine in the back , that was a nice touch <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> mike, Please Buy One! - benny1636 - 11-24-2008 <!--quoteo(post=285095:date=Nov 23 2008, 08:20 PM:name=IbDaToNeGuY)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(IbDaToNeGuY @ Nov 23 2008, 08:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quoteci think it's a very nice original take and damn great for being your first sculpt . i really like the spine in the back , that was a nice touch <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> mike,<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndYes but put your sculpt picture next to this...http://NIGHTOWLpro.com/vengeance.html for only 50$. I agree with the above poster that you would probley sell it at 50$. Give it a shot see what happens. Maybe you can make up the $$ in volume. If I had the cash I would buy it, and I'm just sounding nice, I love original sculpts. Please Buy One! - sirbrad - 11-24-2008 Originality is good but well known sells better. You are the creator so what you think is irrelevant. The lack of sales speaks for itself, something just ain't right. With better anatomy and the current details it would probably sell more. The paint looks good but the shape just seems off. Like I said, you can't expect your first sculpts to be a huge success. Others would not put their first sculpts up for sale as they would know better, they would continue working on them until perfected. |
