Hey all... I decided to go ahead and build a test glove using some of my new Hero Glove parts. The fingertips are from my current Part 1 glove, the backplate is the newly shaped backplate but it cut from a very thick piece of brass so I wasn't able to bend it exactly how I wanted it, the leather glove is the new leather glove but the wrist-strap ripped off during construction (my fault <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/verymad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":verymad:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"verymad.gif\" /> ) so I just cut it completely off. The lower finger columns are the new ones but I'm going to make one more slight adjustment before having them cut. The glove has the new blades. I'm very pleased and excited to offer these newly shaped blades and I think they look fantastic on the piece. I included a comparison photo just to compare the two to give you an idea what I'm shooting for. looks good to me, but something about the packplate looks off.....the blades are pretty though

Yeah.. the backplate looks off because it's not bent entirely like I want it to be. I am confident it's shaped extremely like the actual one but the bending is very important and I couldn't get the brass this thick to bend that way. It'll look better when I get the backplates cut from my new sheet.

Here are a few more shots that I took outside. It's weird how artificial light makes colors look weird. Hopefully these natural light photos will show you the coloring better... like the glove. It almost looked greenish in my first photos. It's more brown than anything. Also, one thing I wanted to make sure I got right was the mobility. In the film, the glove allowed the wearer to almost completely close their hand (especially the two middle fingers) despite the long finger stalls.
