Just came back from a matinee for My Bloody Valentine 3D and I really liked it. The 3D effects and the story on it are great. Just wanted to hear your opinion on it and what your thoughts were. Im Not spoiling it for no one but... Stay till the end of the credits and keep your glasses on!..

Bloody fun stuff saw it last night... very fun...not cinematic genius but fun as hell and the theater had this 1950's vibe going on very cool, people screaming and just generally amped up about seeing 3D horror.mike

I saw it today in 3-D....which was amazing. The last 3-D I saw had the red and blue glasses. This was an entirely different process and the whole movie was in a vivid three dimensions. Some great kills and a great nudie scene....add some Tom Atkins.....get yer ass to the theatre!..........................................Larry

I am so looking forward to this one! I doubt I'll have the chance to watch it in 3D, though (not at a theater, anyway).By the way, how was the gore?? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

it was a fun flick, but Im gonna be honest. the 3d-ness really kinda just got old to me after a while. the only real events that are cool in 3d are a bit too spaced out. I didnt pay nearly 4 dollars extra to see roses sitting on a counter in 3-d, lol. while it was fun, I'd forgotten how much it irritates my eyes to have those glasses on for 2 hours. the same thing happened during nightmare before christmas, lol.but all in all, the movie itself was very enjoyable. the 3d element certainly added to the effect, but I just wasnt as impressed with them as I'd hoped. I guess it was just talked up a bit too much before it was actually released. I thought the friday the 13th part 3 was better in 3d, and actually had better visuals imo. the dimensions were very well done though, I must say. very retro styled film. it reminded me very much of the oldschool slasher films.anywho, fun movie, especially for a good "arm grabber" for your special lady. btw, the nude chick and the younger girl who worked at the store were smokin! I'm also psyched about Last House on the Left.<!--quoteo(post=293003:date=Jan 16 2009, 06:35 PM:name=DiedLaughing)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(DiedLaughing @ Jan 16 2009, 06:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecA fun time overall... the girl's camel toe near the beginning was A+ ha ha ha<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndI thought I was the only one who noticed, lol. now I dont feel so akward. thanks.

I set my expectations low for this one and just prepared my mind for a 'sit back and relax' good time. This movie was absolutely packed! I mean every high school kid from around the nation had to come to our one NCG theater here to watch this one in 3-D. The atmosphere was awesome w/ everyone wearing the Real-D 3-D glasses (which aren't those cheapies... they look like the ones Ferris Bueller and his crew wore). Anyhow, I never saw the original 80s version so this one was somewhat of a treat. The plot was nothing special... typical slasher. But that was a-ok by me. The acting was surprisingly decent, albeit not prize worthy.... who cares, huge nekked scene w/ a cute blonde. And Atkins rocked as usual! There is somewhat of a twist in the movie as it's a guessing game as to who the real killer is. I honestly did not know until the end b/c I was blazed. This is how all horror movie experiences should be though! The gore was unreal... what a bloody mess. Some of the best kills I've seen in a movie. That axepick is brutal. I hope LionsGate has set a new trend for what's to come. Flick - 7/10Atmosphere - 9/10Fun - 10/10Gore - 10/10Go check it out if you haven't already.
