Best Way To Smooth Out A Sculpt - Last Man Standing - 01-22-2009 I am doing a little changing to the Fred mask and I need to know the best way to smooth out the hard parts like the ears and eyes. I've tried rubbing alcohol but it has done more streaking than smoothing. Any one willing to help? Usually stores like Meijer, Wal-Mart etc. carry 99% or 70%. The 70 doesnt work worth a crap lol. It also helps to have a heat gun handy if you have one. If you slightly warm up the clay its alot easier to smooth out. Dont over do it with the heat though especially if it is oil based clay your working with. -Bill Best Way To Smooth Out A Sculpt - Mutilated - 01-23-2009 Blow dryer works wonders on Oil based clay. |
