I think it would be REALLY cool to get the public to vote on how they want Freddy to look. It would be cool of them to maybe release concept drawings and have the fans vote on their favorite and incorporate it into the film. That way the fans can truly say they had an impact on the outcome of the film instead of it being all done behind closed doors. You risk screwing up an iconic character if it's not done well. But I really liked how Jason looked in the new film so maybe I should have more confidence in their designing ability. Any thoughts?

I think the Platinum Dunes folks have their own ideas for how a remake Freddy will be like and I doubt they'd bother with the fans' opinions.

To each his own, I guess. I thought he looked awesome. Anyway.. back to Freddy. They have to keep the hat and red and green sweater. I really don't see how they could change much on his other than his makeup and the actor. I'm interested in what the new glove will look like. Hope it's like the first one... very basic yet cruel looking. Love it.

I hope they don't go all TDK and CG his burns. I'm aware that, in reality, someone as burnt as Freddy wouldn't have a nose, lips or ears, but damn...it's FREDDY. Haha.

Freddys burns will be practical. You can count on them making him really filthy looking....which never hurts.I thought Jason looked great.

I loved how Freddy looked in the first film. My favorite burned look is the 4th but the 1st is the most realistic. Especially after he came out of the bed after he had been lit on fire. His ear was falling off and looked charred. I wouldn't mind him looking like that again.
