Just curious as to if anyone knows were I can obtain the same model leather gloves used on the original freddy gloves or similer, with the silver ball and clasp. Any info would be greatly appreciated! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Take care, guys!-Chris Hey Guys! Wels Lamont Question. - FreddysNightmare - 04-15-2009 These are rare as far as I know. They are very nice if you can find them, the leather is really soft and nice quality. I had one I just sold on my part 6 glove. Good luck on your mission to find some. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Hey Guys! Wels Lamont Question. - johnp - 04-15-2009 Here's some Wells Lamont 1178's in size XXL. This vendor used to have size M as well (like the originals) but it looks like they sold out.<a href=\"http://www.amazon.com/Wells-Lamont-Glove-Cowhide-XX-LRG/dp/B000PDMQFY/\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.amazon.com/Wells-Lamont-Glove-C.../dp/B000PDMQFY/</a>As gerard333 mentioned, the part 1/2 gloves had a different thumb cut. I am not sure if this is because Wells Lamont changed the glove, or whether a different make/model was used. The part 3 glove seems to be a different make/model from the rest. Hey Guys! I was just about to order a pair. I think its a bit shonky if they send you a different colour. This info has been really great thanks, guys! Were do you get your golves from Knifegloves.com??-Chris<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI get my gloves from magidglove.com. They are cheaper gloves and have inferior leather than, say, Wells Lamont or Stanley but I treat the leather so it becomes very soft and much like a luxury leather (I used to not do that). They don't have a silver metal ball and tape but I make due without (mine have a brown metal ball and clasp). They come in a cream white so they are ideal for coloring how I want them to look. I wished the Stanley glove came in the cream white color but it was just a dark tan color instead. But I honestly can't afford to use the really expensive gloves so I settle for the cheap ones and treat the leather. I think they turn out just fine. |
