Air Bubles On The Mask. Any Problem? - manoel - 05-16-2009

Hi, everyone? Has anyone ever had problems with air bubbles marks inside of your latex masks? It makes the mask thinner in some areas and a bit transparent. Does anyone know if there“s any risk of damage, as the mask ages. Please let me know.

Well, naturally if you stretch the mask (to don, or to put over a mannequin head, etc) it can rip. You can always add some mask latex on the inside, but there's no guarantee if it will actually help or not.

Use a cotton swab and latex to fill the holes from the inside. a lot of masks come like that. I haven't had a problem with them, once I filled the thin spots.Pat

usually most masks should go over your head without much stretch, if its being stretched to the point of ripping in the inside due to a air bubble , it prolly shouldnt be worn,, but i woulsnt think you's have anything to worry about
