Question For The Sculptor's - Krypt Kreeper - 05-18-2009

Ok I'm finally taking my hand at sculpting, nothing big or special, I'm just mainly just testing out my skills on a 3 3/4" GI Joe figure using Sculpy <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> . Now my question is what is the best way to smooth out the clay and erase fingerprints while it's still soft? I read alot of people use rubbing alcohol, and I even heard lighter fluid will work, but will either of these cause the sculpture to loose detail? Also do I just use a paint brush to apply the alcohol?
