The Return Of Chris Grantner! - mpetrie - 07-03-2009 Hey all... I knew about this a little while back but it's been officially announced:"Hello Again,This is Christopher Grantner, former owner of TopShelfCollections, Freddygloves.com and new owner of http://www.razorgloves.com.First, I would like to thank you again for being visitors and customers of my past websites. I hope that you will take a few minutes of your time to browse around the all new RazorGloves.com. I have some exciting new policies that I really think you're going to like. I am hoping to set new standards for glove artists. Full details are posted at www.razorgloves.com.There were a few of you who were still looking for custom work after I had closed the doors of TopShelf. This message is also to let you know that I am, in fact, building 100% hand crafted gloves once again. So just drop me a line if there is anything that I can do for you.Word of mouth is responsible for so much of my business. I cannot tell you how much I would appreciate it if you would let others know that the doors are open again.Chriswww.razorgloves.comadmin@razorgloves.com"I say... WELCOME BACK!!! The Return Of Chris Grantner! - imperialhockmaster - 07-03-2009 Thats awsome, there arent enough glove makers, and ive owned 5 of chris's gloves and they exactly what he use to call his website, TOPSHELF, you cant go wrong with his service, quality, and price! Ive added the site to my favs, Glad to have him back, cant wait to get a custom glove!!! The Return Of Chris Grantner! - gummi - 07-03-2009 I had completely forgotten about this. It's great to see such a great glove maker back on the scene. I really like the way he's handling sales, only selling what he has available at the moment. I guess I have yet another site to check daily now. Chris and I have been chatting for the last few weeks and I told him that once I was caught up on my orders, I would only pre-build gloves instead of taking orders in advance. He then told me that he was making an all-new website and also running his business the same way. Take it from the both of us... getting behind on orders is AWFUL. The Return Of Chris Grantner! - bornoffire - 07-03-2009 Can anyone give me a comparison between Chris's gloves and Ander's? Are Chris's just as good? Cheaper? The Return Of Chris Grantner! - mpetrie - 07-03-2009 I'm not sure what Chris has up his sleeves for his new gloves but Chris offered the heaviest Part 1 glove you can find. 24 oz copper and 16 gauge steel blades. Thing weighed a ton. Chris also offers very cheap gloves. Obviously made of cheaper materials and typically not screen accurate but good for the cheaper market. Anders offers great gloves as well but I've never seen one personally unlike Chris'. You can't go wrong with either one but I like Chris' method of business now... selling pre-made gloves so no wait times unlike Anders. The Return Of Chris Grantner! - ash - 07-03-2009 I owned one of his budget gloves (G33102 I think) and I thought it was very well made. The movement of the glove was perfect and very comfortable to wear. Great quality for the price for sure. It is great news to hear that he's back. Can't wait to see his new gloves. The Return Of Chris Grantner! - wickedbeard - 07-03-2009 This is one of Chris's gloves in action.I love this thing, and i am so happy to see that you are back bro. The Return Of Chris Grantner! - FreddysNightmare - 07-03-2009 <!--quoteo(post=319829:date=Jul 3 2009, 07:03 AM:name=imperialhockmaster)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (imperialhockmaster @ Jul 3 2009, 07:03 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThats awsome, there arent enough glove makers, and ive owned 5 of chris's gloves and they exactly what he use to call his website, TOPSHELF, you cant go wrong with his service, quality, and price! I have done 2 deals with Chris in the past back when he used to sell on e bay. I still own one glove from him and I love it. He is a great guy to buy from, very friendly and his gloves are very nice indeed. This is the best news that hes back. Brilliant that he is now going to sell gloves ready made with no horrible wait time, thats the way to do it. I'm interested in checking out his part 1 and part 4. Chris you Rule buddy! The Return Of Chris Grantner! - imperialhockmaster - 07-03-2009 Ive owned an Anders Glove and there are some diffrences, Not in quality, just price and style imo, I liked my Ts glove just as much, not to mention Chris went out of his way and made my glove personally to fit my hand, i mean the darn thing fit like a second layer of skin, also i tested the strength of the blades, ive taken my glove everywhere, its been thru some abuse and the only thing that has worn on it is the leatherglove, ive had othert gloves from other makers and the blades will actually break from the soder if abused too much, i think you could actually impale some one with these and with the right angle and strength you could pull their freakin ribcage out of their chest!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() |
