High Res Version Of Lament Configuration - fearfair - 09-08-2009

I am needing to have vinyl cut for a large scale (7'x7') version of the top face of the Hellraiser puzzle box for a scene at our haunted house. Does anyone have this in a vector format that I could use. Thanks so much.I am aware of cenobite.com and the .gif version, but I need something scalable for use by a vinyl cutter. Thanks!

Awesome site for vectorized logos and such.http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/104611160/131193.html

How soon do you need it? There's only like 5 unique sections on that thing.. (center, and 2 pips with different graphics in 4 pips) That images shows slightly more variations, but it also shows the circle being off-centered, and other glitches. I doubt anyone would question a little bit of leeway taken to move things along. One thing though.. those square holes in the border edges? In that scale you can't "fake" them, like I've seen them faked everywhere else. They're either THERE or they are missing. Those are going to be a LOT of cutting for each and every one. You'll need to reinterpret the designs a bit anyways or it's going to look odd at that scale. Some of it won't translate well at that size anyways.. the designs within the circle for example are 2d representations of the 3d steps in those areas.Unless this HAS to be vinyl, I'd suggest making an art project out of it.. get some rulers, pencils, cardboard stencils, paint and just go for it. Unless you need it nearly perfect at any distance, and it's worth some significant money to cut it out.

I was able to find a CorelDraw version of the file here: http://www.cenobite.com/box/lament/However, it looks like someone auto traced it to convert it to vector and it lost a lot of detail, including the square cutouts which I agree are pretty crucial. This is the project I am replicating:[attachment=31602:hellraiser2.jpg]

You might want to price out getting that cut in vinyl though... I still think it might prove to be too much.I did a little bit of the art yesterday, just to mess with it.. that doorway picture is pretty cool, and I could probably get closer to the designs on it, rather than anything else I've found for you so far.The image Crash linked to is probably not such a bad deal though.. it's not exactly the one you planned on, but in a pinch it might do pretty good for your application, though I guess this design you're looking at is likely to be more familiar. Those corel draw ones.. not gonna' do you much good in my estimation. I think you're right about them. However, you might be able to draw over and smooth them out a bit or something. I imported them at x10 and they came out alright, though some of the "inside vs. outside" of the design work was messed up in the conversion to Paint Shop Pro (version 10). I'm not real skilled with vector art, but someone who IS good with that might be able to help using those. Clownnation might tackle something like this for a fee. I dunno if Crash does vector art, or I'd suggest him too.

Unless the price is totally out of line, I will probably go that way.
