Freddy's Glove Measurements - auzorann - 09-28-2009 so i've decided to see if i could make a freddy glove. i'm trying to work out the measurements right now so i don't totally screw up the materials i have. here's what i've come up with so far. i know they aren't right and this is one finger. so what i really want to know is if someone has these measurements and wouldn't mind sharing? any help is appreciated.don't mind the crude photoshop drawing. it's not scale by any means lol Freddy's Glove Measurements - liquidaluminum - 09-28-2009 Unless you're planning on doing a Vs. glove, the fingertips are going to be way to long and mis-shapen. The way it's set up now, it's going to look like he's got long fingernails with blades on top of them, but that's just my two cents. I wish you the best on getting the proper measurements, a glove maker is going to have those and you might be hard pressed to find someone that will give them up. My advise...if you have a glove, use it for measurements, or make paper templates and keep working them until you get the look you're going for, then transfer it to metal.Good luck,-Joseph Freddy's Glove Measurements - auzorann - 09-28-2009 <!--quoteo(post=332033:date=Sep 28 2009, 06:41 PM:name=liquidaluminum)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (liquidaluminum @ Sep 28 2009, 06:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecUnless you're planning on doing a Vs. glove, the fingertips are going to be way to long and mis-shapen. Freddy's Glove Measurements - liquidaluminum - 09-29-2009 Good luck on it. I know that there are some generic templates out there online. If I remember right, they build kind of a bulky glove like anything after part 2. That's a good place to start from because depending on what you're trying to build, you can trim it down to a part 1, or add to it and make it a part 4 or 5. I'll look around for you and see if I can find a copy of that template, but I can't make any promises. While I was typing this I went looking for the link so I could just post it and didn't have any luck. I'll check my PC and see if I ever saved a copy of it from a while back. At any rate, good luck and I think you're off to a good start.-Joseph Freddy's Glove Measurements - adee - 09-30-2009 There's lots of good templates around. Ask Mark (knifegloves) if he would help with some of his old ones before he refined them. He may still have the ones that were posted up on the kruegear forum which I used and got some good results. Or ask Suckface as he posted them up to start with. I don't have mine on this comp or I'd post them for you. The ones Suckface posted for both parts 1/2 & 4 work really well. I have a load of blades kicking about that were from Mark before he changed them. I have 1 set of part 1 blades, and about 6 sets of part 4 so if you need any, you can have them dirt cheap as I won't be using them any time soon as no garage anymore <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() Freddy's Glove Measurements - mpetrie - 09-30-2009 <!--quoteo(post=332297:date=Sep 30 2009, 02:03 AM:name=adee)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (adee @ Sep 30 2009, 02:03 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThere's lots of good templates around.
