It could have pulled that detail layer area loose when you filled it up, it looks like the portion of the head where the poured latex might have hit first, and the mold may have been too wet in that spot where the small dimples are over the ear. Sometimes I put a detail coat in just the front half, then tilt the mold and aim for the back half while pouring as slowly as possible. Weird though, never seen it peel that thin.

I think I just did the detail coat to thin and it dryed before I filled the moldIt prob dryed then when I was pouring it got air under it

have you used the latex on anything before and it's been ok ?Only ask because latex is not naturaly that colour so it has been mixed with something and that will most likely be what the cause is ?

yeahI done lots of pull with itit was getting kinda thick so I thinned it with some ammoniathats just the color of it when I pull them outit starts turning a yellow color after its out of the mold for a few hours

You don't have to let the detail coat dry, you can brush it on then fill the mold right up and shake the hell out of it to get rid of bubbles. looks like the poured latex knocked the detail coat loose. Either that or it was just pulled out the mold to soon. Could of also been some excess water in the mold.
