I wasn't able to see it tonight but i'm glad to hear that Cro Cop is starting to win again . He was an animal in Pride and I own most of the Pride ppvs and love watching his fights . Ufc 110 Tonight - Ray Pena - 02-21-2010 Bader knocked out Jardine and Silva almost killing Bisping at the end of the third was great.Velasquez owned Big Nog. Ufc 110 Tonight - JV666 - 02-21-2010 i was awaiting 110 so much, four of my favorite fighters in one night.. and golly gee willikers that was a really good night of fights. first off though, i think crocop is really done.. i don't have faith in him anymore. he just looked like he did not care. i don't get it... yes he was hurting him but he just didn't act like he has that killer instinct nowadays.what about george though eh? that guy is a ground wizard, beautiful BJJ and his striking seems to be improving. seriously, if he beats a top 10 guy next fight i'd throw him into title contention.wand vs bisping was awesome. bisping looked great, like a totally different fighter and wandy adapted good. golly gee willikers though, wand had him twice at the end of the 2nd and 3rd. how lucky.. this, along with wand/franklin, is a good case for 5 round fights in non title situations. or even four rounds.my heart broke when nog got KO'd like that, golly gee willikers. i guess it really is a changing of the guard. cain is a serious contender too though, wow.overall this card easily lived up to expectations.. awesome Ufc 110 Tonight - monteburns - 02-21-2010 Probably the best ppv of the year & the Australian crowd was awesome. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Wanderlei almost had Bisping out in the 2nd & 3rd.Bisping was saved by the bell twice. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"yes.gif\" /> Cain knocking out Big Nog was a complete shock. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":o\" border=\"0\" alt=\"ohmy.gif\" /> Cain had amazing timing & huge power shots that would have ko'ed most UFC heavyweights. Ufc 110 Tonight - IbDaToNeGuY - 02-21-2010 I'm really hoping that either Cain or Shane Carwin fight Lesnar when he comes back this summer as those 2 guys seem to be as even body wise as you'll get in the UFC . I like Mir ALOT but he's always gonna be outweighed by Lesnar by so much and all Lesnar will do is lay ontop of him and punch . It's sad because with Brocks wrestling skills ( not WWE wrestling ) he could pull off some sick moves . But you already knew who won the fight when Brock vs. Randy was called as Brock had 45 lbs. over Randy and the same thing happened in that fight too . Just using deadweight on him to tire him out . They put that match up together knowing Brock would get the title so it would cause a stir in the UFC . Oh and right now it's just rumored but at 114 it looks to be Forrest Griffin vs. Big Nog . So could that be the reason why Forrest said that his next fight is not a good one and he's not happy looking forward to it ? ..... Cain (who i cant stand anymore after last night) i do have to admit is a big guy with power. Same for lesnar. Plus think of the crowd that fight would bring in. But lesnars fighting in april i think again against whoever wins out of mir and somebody else i cant remember <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> So cain and lesnar will have to wait, plus who thinks cain really deserves a title shot already? Ufc 110 Tonight - JV666 - 02-21-2010 griffin is actually facing nog's little brother rogerio who fights at light heavyweight, and has been on a tear as of late. i can definitely see why forrest wouldn't be happy about that, the match up is horrible for him stylistically. IMO carwin/mir winner should face lesnar, and cain should have to face one more top contender (like the winner of junior dos santos/gabriel gonzaga) with the winner of that fight getting the next shot at whoever comes out on top of the lesnar/mir/carwin tourney. cain doesn't have nearly the amount of size brock does though, cain weighs like 240 and has a bit of fat on him, lesnar has 30 pounds of muscle on him easily. |
