Why In The H#$l Can't There Be A Great Horror Channel? - knewby - 03-09-2010
Cable TV has been around for what, 25 years plus? Why in the mutha-effin world cannot we not get a great sustained horror channel? Monsters HD seemed great but I never even knew anyone who had it. Plus its gone. Canada had the Scream channel but I read it renamed "DUSK" and is more watered down. I have FEARNET on Comcast but it only plays a handful of movies each month. With Horror obviously so popular, what is the major roadblock to a successful channel? We have channels for every conceivable subject yet horror still is left by the wayside.............Larry

It used to have several different horror films every day, but for some reason towards the end, they began repeating the same movies one after the other.We need a new channel like this!

I remember back in the day Sci-Fi was pretty much the horror channel. These days, you're lucky if a horror movie is even MENTIONED on that channel. I suppose nothing will ever beat the late night scary movies on USA....

I have Chiller on DirecTV but the movies are edited...They do show Freddy's Nightmares though which is cool.

That would be sweet if we had one.Everything gone so down hill on TV. I doubt if will ever see good horror flicks on there anytime soon.

I have Chiller but like said the movies are edited. When I had Dish I had monstershd but I don't think the channel is even around anymore.

Chiller is the worst channel ever made, a waste of space IMO. Monsters HD was like the greatest channel ever made, I loved it.

There is horror on all night most of the time on IFC, FMC, and Chiller channel. Most of the time though nothing I have not seen a million times or like too much. Madman was on 3 times so far that I caught. But they pick up a lot more around Halloween. I wish there was a 24/7 horror channel with no infomercials and played all the best horror movies. But I am too much of an insomaniac as it is.
