Silicone Fred - scream4me - 03-27-2010 i finished painting this mask from a blank the other day and heres what i got. i need some opinions if it should be darker or lighter or leave it. the part 2 fred is lighter with less burn markings. i dont want him to pail looking like some pics but not dark neither so heres were it stands.Second part question i was thinking of adding some wetness to him to make him glossy in areas. yes or no? so i need some feedback before i do or dont do the wet look if the tone is right.Thanks..[attachment=32938:010.JPG][attachment=32937:009.JPG][attachment=32936:008.JPG][attachment=32935:007.JPG] Silicone Fred - scream4me - 03-27-2010 outside[attachment=32941:002.JPG] Silicone Fred - IbDaToNeGuY - 03-27-2010 i'd gloss up the burn marks for sure . not sure on darkening up the mask but a good part 2 sounds nice <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> mike, Silicone Fred - hummie12 - 03-27-2010 just my opinion don't make it any darker. in part 2 the burn marks aren't much dark. just leave it as it is now.also about the glossy it really depends on what scene from part 2 you are going for. in a lot of the promo/publicity shots (taken in bright light) from part 2 the facial prosthetics aren't much glossy/wet looking at all. there are a few close up shots where the prosthetics look shiny in some areas.so imo take it very easy with the gloss in the burn marks. just subtile. don't overdo it. Less is more. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />here below is a simple example:on the left is without gloss/dry look on the right seems like a gloss/wet look and both are facial prosthetics from part 2. Silicone Fred - SUCKFACE - 03-27-2010 I think you've done a great job mate , it looks realy nice, loving the detail and the blues in there. Would love to see some pictures of it being worn and a video I think Gerard is bang on with what he's saying I'd leave it as it is, so many people have different opinions on the color of Freddy and the problem with him is he's very heavily lit up in all the film or underlit by red blue and green light so the only way to reference the correct color is natural light and behind the scenes promo stuff Silicone Fred - scream4me - 03-27-2010 thanks guys your opinion means alot. Silicone Fred - Ol#39; Chop Top - 03-27-2010 Good job, looks great! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Silicone Fred - Jason Fan - 03-27-2010 Wow that's a really nice paintup. I'd leave it as is. You got the colors down nicely. Silicone Fred - scream4me - 03-27-2010 well i tried it all on heres some pics, 2 of the pics i tampered with to try to get the movie lighting.[attachment=32945:011.JPG][attachment=32946:014.JPG][attachment=32947:017.JPG] Silicone Fred - Myersh20 - 03-28-2010 tremendous work Dave!and you wear it very well. |
