Does anyone remember the giant Freddy head piece built for New Nightmare? I'd love to know what they did with it after. Does anyone have any photos of it?

No,no.I'm talking about the Freddy head they made for the dream world. When Nancy enters his world and falls down that waterfall via the opening in his mouth.

Awesome pics! Thanks alot.
I wonder what they did with this set piece after the film. Did they sell it or keep it locked up somewhere? Hopefully they didn't destroy it.

I don't suppose you know who designed it?

which person exactly designed the Giant Freddy head set piece i don't know, but here is some info about the "digital" bottom picture i posted:

For this digital matte painting, "Entering Freddy's World", there were over 50 elements to composite. These included a blue screen element of the girl falling, various water elements for the waterfall effect, smoke and fire elements to bring the city alive and a 3D animated pterodactyl. A digital camera move was performed on the whole shot as well. The company FLASH FILM WORKS was selected to create all visual effects on "Wes Craven's New Nightmare." Over one hundred visual FX shots of various kinds were produced including digital matte paintings, 3D-animation and digital composites, some shots having over 50 elements.
