First Hockey Mask Paint Up (Fright Stuff Remake) - twopinacoladas - 07-19-2010

Hello all, this is my first topic here I have been viewing this board regularly since last summer.

This is my first hockey mask paint up a Fright Stuff remake blank. Over all I am pretty happy with the way it turned out, originally I had way to much damage and it wasn't looking very good. I was thinking it may be harder than I thought it would be but then I started over with a fresh coat of paint and began layering it (it started to look much better). Anyway I thought I would post this I tried to get somewhat accurate to the movie it probably has to much dark brown and black patches on it but I am happy with it =)

By the way some of the work others have done people have posted is amazing and inspiring to get better at this. I have a part 3/4 clear blank I will likely do a part 3 with a bit of wear... maybe with the axe cut in the barn scene.

Feel free to critique lol don't be to harsh tho Tongue

First paint up is always the hardest, ya worry if you're doing it right, how it's gonna come out, if it's too much, or not enough LOL The next one is gonna be a breaze, more fun less stress Wink This is lookin good man, like has been said a real nice remake vibe to it, and a real nice first paint job! Keep it up man!

Thanks, yeah I agree with you on that and there is a lot of learning during the first mask as well.
