So did they use two sets of makeup in that movie?
Seems that there are two types of under mask make up.
1. "the brute" style ( I believe when he first becomes unmasked)
2. "the mutant" ending and most other unmasked shots.

Stan Winstons mask was used throughout the movie until the end where they used makeup. Check out Crash's Hideous Looking Man, its the most accurate part 3 out there.

Three? hmmm made need to go back and pay closer attention. I find it pretty crazy that the make up was so different from the end scene and the rest of the movie, they look like two different people.
