Tmnt Tribute Bust - alter-egos - 11-13-2010

I just started my next tribute piece. The ninja turtles were very cool growing up and the character has stood the test of time. They are still strong today after 20-30 years and have been reinvented into many different mediums. Here is what i have so far, comments and critiquest welcome. Thanks for looking.

I freakin love it and am glad you chose this one . There's not alot of turtle stuff out there or affordable for that matter lol . Also another reason why i'm such a big fan of your work is that you do mostly original stuff and not the same ol' big horror names that have been made countless times already . You give something different to the people which is great . Can't wait for updates on this one for sure . Any idea if it's gonna be cloth material or sculpted ?

Hi brian. Lookin' good so far. If your going for the movie look the snout looks like it comes out a bit more in the ref. pic you posted.

Thanks for the comments guys. Here are some updated pics, i made the head and mouth area larger and worked on the eyes and neck area.

Robocop i added some clay to the snout, but i didn't like the profile, it stuck out too far. I am going to stick with the cartoons for that section.

Mike i am going to do real cloth with this piece. I tested the idea with an old rag.
