Ebay - Darth Veach - 01-05-2011

Has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a lot more people who are just not paying for auctions?? Ever since Ebay changed their feedback policy to where sellers cannot give negative feedback for non-paying bidders it sees to be ridiculous now. I have been doing business on Ebay since 2000 and probably had ONE non-paying bidder. In the last 2 months I have had FOUR! I F-ing hate it! Anyone else?

yea, this buyer paid for my auction, but didn't like my packing materials (which were fine) so complained and wanted money refunded eventhough nothing was damaged, i did as the seller asked and they still left me neg feedback because they knew i could not leave them neg feedback in return. so i made a pos feedback with a neg comment....real negative. ebay actually contacted me and told me i was not able to do this. well, this is exactly what i wanted. i gave them an earful about there unfir policy and in the end ebay removed the buyers negative feedback from my profile.

it gives the buyer too much power when you cant leave them neg feedback. EBAY BLOWS!! i only use ebay if i exhaust all other avenues of selling something.

not exactly the same situation as yours, but its that same policy causing a different kind of problem.

Yes I have had to file more claims in the past year than any other year I have been selling(2001) The new rules are not fair for the sellers anymore, Which is the reason I don't sell much on there anymore unless I have too.

I had a guy bid for a mask and *then* ask if I'd take a money order even though it said Paypal only. Being a nice guy, I said yes. Two hours before the auction ended (and 48 hours after he bid), he pulled the bid stating he'd typed in the wrong amount. According to eBay rules, he can't do that after a specific amount of time and if he does, he must re-bid. I called him out via eBay messenger and he told me he had "found something he like more". I forwarded that message to ebay and spoke to their service people. They said they'd look into it. He's done it with 8 auctions in the last five months and he's still a user. EBay sucks if you're a seller.
