My First Time...................... - 420Smiles - 10-13-2011

I\'ve had this Part 8 hood sitting around collecting dust for about a year now. Its pretty beat up and had already been repaired several times before I got it (on a trade). Yesterday I decided that I couldn\'t mess it up any more than it already was so I decided to paint it up (and hopefully make it look a little better).

Here is what it looked like before...............

And here is what it looks like after the paint job................

Good work.... Do you have a pt. 8 hockey mask to throw on it?

My First Time...................... - 420Smiles - 10-13-2011

Thanks.......
No Hockey Mask tho......not yet. I been looking to trade a Roy Hockey Mask (painted by Steve Bellemy) for a nice Part 8 Hockey Mask, so I could use this as a display.

sweet job, how did you paint it airbrush?

My First Time...................... - 420Smiles - 10-14-2011

Actually.............No airbrush work at all. I just mixed up some acrylic paint, latex, and thinned it out some. Then used various sponges and brushes to get the look I wanted.

Since it turned out as good as it did, I think I might go ahead and make some Part 8 sleeves (with the same paint scheme) and try a whole "custom" Manhattan costume.
