Well got this guy in today but found out yesterday that it is most likely a recast. I\'ve had a good run 4 years and this is my 1st time being scammed. Well guess I could take it out back and plink some .22 rounds into it.....

Hey Bryan. What makes you think that it\'s a recast? Is there a number on the bottom that\'s part of the casting? Also, is there a circular indentation in the bottom with a fishbone symbol inside?
Who did you buy it from?

Honestly you didn\'t know it was a recast if it indeed is. And alot of people on the boards that have one of those got it from that seller so your not alone.

I also heard this was a recast from more then a couple members on here and different forums. I had one straight from that ebay user and it was really good a little thin but i liked it was a really good recast no joke. I sold mine couple months back.

I was not able to find anything on the the bottom, it is hollowed out. A friend of mine here on the board was able to find the person who owns the mold and the guy on ebay is making molds as well lol. It looks a little smaller in person too.

It is just hard to "like" it. I mean it looks good but I know it\'s a phony and I feel like I\'m ripping off an artist (howard) who put a TON of work into this.
