Hi guys. One of my favorite movie monsters is tarman from return of the living dead. I know monty ward made a tarman mask but has anyone else. tarman dosent seem to be as popular as i would think. Although amoktime makes a killer tarman figure, i just got one and the level of detail is great. Thanks

Monte\'s is easily the best. Harry Inman did one too that was pretty good. It got the cartoonishness down, just more stylized. It wasn\'t as screen-accurate as Monte\'s.
There\'s several more out there but they all look off to me. People always tend to miss the point when sculpting Tarman. He\'s supposed to look HAPPY. People try and make him look mean and pissed off, which doesn\'t fit the character. He\'s overjoyed to be up and walking around munching brains. It\'s all one big party to him lol.
I agree on the Amok Time figure. That thing is awesome. I thought it would never come out, but it finally did. I still need to pick one up.
If you\'re looking to see what all else is out there, just search Google images for Tarman mask or bust. You\'ll see what I mean about most of the rest of them. Not bad efforts in terms of general sculpting talent or ability in most cases - they just miss the essence of the character IMO. If they just tweaked his expression, it would make a lot of them soooo much better and more desirable, at least for me.

Ya I agree alot of them arent quite right. Like you said montys is a stylized verzion and the cemetery gates one is just a bad sculpt imo. I found another one that looks great except that they left exposed bones on the left side of his face. Had they not done that it would be pretty golly gee willikers screen accuate. I just got my amoktime tarman yesterday. I also thought it might suck but it looks fantastic.
