Monte Ward Cropsy Paint Up - badnewskruse - 01-12-2013
Got this as a MMFX blank. Had tech-optics do there best to screen match the glass eyes for it. Then it went to Monte for the paint job. Monte is truly a master of his trade and just killed this guy. I am over the moon for this one. Enjoy
Got some clothes from goodwill and some really old shears at a flea market and tried to do up a nice little display

I know you\'ve heard this already from me, but..... Fanfreakintastic my man!! I simply can\'t get tired of looking at this bust; Monte killed it!
The clothes and shears really make for an awesome display. I can\'t wait to see your collection in person some day!

Holy SH!T lol. That is by far the greatest Cropsy display bust EVER. Looks insanely impressive. I love the Lubatti/Sanchez version that I own, but this piece definitely takes the cake. I\'ve always liked the MMFX sculpt, but the finishing work (much like on their Jason pieces) was all over the map in terms of quality and sometimes didn\'t do the sculpt proper justice. Well, Monte\'s paint work certainly does! And those EYES - looks PERFECT. This is just BAD-FREAKIN-A$$ lol. Congrats on this one man - it\'s an absolute BEAST! Really love your extra touches with the clothes and shears too - it just makes this a total jawdropper!

HECK YEAH! I love the display! The weathered overalls and the shears make an amazing display. The eyes are great too. They really make the whole thing POP!
I have never used tech-optics. Are they easy to work with? How are the prices on custom pieces?

Jason in regards to tech optics. They are one of the best companies i have ever dealt with. Just hit em with an email, discuss what u want and give them screen caps and they do there best to nail the look. They asked for.pics of the bust to gauge the best eye size and everything, they take care of it all.
They can be a bit pricey for these custom eyes but they do offer more standard eyes at pretty good prices. I.cant recall the exact price of these but i remember i ordered these and custom matched angus scrimm eyes together one set was $78 and the others were $93.
