I don\'t ever recall seeing anything like this on the message board. If there has been sorry, if not, well, now there is. Do any of you have any experiences with the unexplained ie, ghosts, aliens, etc. Please share your stories.
I\'ll start, a friend and me once deiced to snoop around an old abandoned building near where I lived. We got to this one point in the place that was designed so absolutely NO sunlight could get in. We had no flashlights either, so as we were walking through this room, we heard some one whispering. We stopped and listened. It was too muffled to understand, but son, more whispering followed, as if more people were in the room with us. It just got louder and louder as if the room was full of people whispering, and we also got the feeling of being surrounded. Very unsettling, so like true to life brave horror fans, we ran out of the building. The best part was, we had to crawl through a small hole about 7 foot up in a wall in a back of the building to get out.
Another time, my mother and I were alone because my step father was out of the country working. My mother went outside, and there was really strong wind, unnaturally strong out of nowhere, so my mother fearing a tornado, got me to get in a closet. She called her sister ( I have no idea why) and looked outside again to see what was happening. The next thing I know, she called me out, and wanted me to look at these weird lights outside. At that time, the wind was dead calm, it was perfectly still, but across the road out over a field, there were these red lights. They looked like there were around a disc and they were moving, sort of how Christmas lights can blink one after another to create a moving effect. And above those, was one single red light. my mother said she felt drawn to it, but I kept her from going and we went back inside. The next thing we knew, it was gone.
I have a couple of others, and one is much better than those two. But I\'ll wait on it.

Dan I still have those e-mails you sent me when you harvested your zooms.
I\'m not sure if ghosts or anything are real but my last visit to whitby psych I was the last one to climb through the window and when I got thro7ugh with my backpack, camera and flashlight I didn;t know where my buddies went, then I heard them calling me by name from the stairwell to the basement so I go down and it\'s pitch black no ones in there. I stand for a few moments then get creeped the fuck out and go back upstairs and find my buddies exploring a room up there. But again it could be an echo or whatever.

Cool. That reminds me, I have some photos I took in a graveyard where some weird stuff shows up in. Again, whenever I get access to a scanner, I\'ll see about getting them posted.

We have this place the next town over in Gurnee called The Gate - It is a clearing where a little school house was. The house is torn down. The road into the property is blocked off. All that stands is a huge black iron gate. The legend has it that, a crazy man broke into the school house and killed all the children. After decapitating a few of the children the man walked out to the gate and staked the childrens head on the sharp points of the black iron fence. The community decided to tear down the house after the tragic act, but The Gate still remains as a memory. And it\'s told that you can hear children crying, and see heads on the gate every now and then. But just being there looking at The Gate is enough.

This is a local library that is supposed to be haunted. I used to go there all the time when I was a kid. The basement and childrens room always gave me weird vibes, and this was years before they started "promoting" that the place was haunted.

I have never experienced anything paranormal...but I was one of the founders of a Paranormal Investigation Club at the University of New Haven. I\'m pretty sure it\'s still running strong.
Occassionally we\'d go to haunted sites and the person taking us out there would claim he "feels" someone close by....Full of shit if you ask me..
I believe in ghosts though...

And I saw Bojangles dancing with a vaccum cleaner.
I do believe in ghosts though.
