Anyone Ever Notice - Ben_Forsaken - 05-14-2005 Maybe it\'s just me, but I know on some other boards people tend to use the words \'prop\' and \'replica\' almost interchangably. For example, someone will say, "I got this new prop" but it\'s not a prop, it\'s a replica. I don\'t know, I tend to think of props as something that was actually used in the production of a film, and a replica as a recreation of a prop. For some reason it bugs the snot out of me when people call a replica a prop. It\'s like, "Ahhh, it\'s not a prop! It\'s a replica!" Maybe I\'m just wierd. But I don\'t think of anything in my collection as a prop. They\'re replicas of props. Comments? Anyone? You in the back with your hand up. Anyone Ever Notice - gmyers - 05-14-2005 lol for some reason I have this weird habbit of jsut holding up my hand, and when I read that "you with your hand up in the back" I started cracking up. I totally agree with you Bill.....I have no props myself either, i have replica props. Anyone Ever Notice - goaliehack - 05-14-2005 Actually the correct term is prop replica. Like you said, because it is replicating a movie used prop.
