Was anybody here a big fan of TNT\'s Monstervision, with Joe Bob Briggs? I was digging through some stuff, and found some of my old tapes of the show. I loved watching it every Saturday night.

On October 31, 1998, TNT aired Joe Bob Briggs’ First Annual Dusk-To-Dawn Friday the 13th Marathon, during which they screened Friday the 13th 1-6 with Joe Bob hosting between commercial breaks.

I’ve digitized all of the Monstervision segments, and removed the commercials (and there were a LOT). I’m in the process of ripping footage from Friday the 13th 1-6 (unedited, widescreen). Next, I’m going to insert the new footage in place of the crappy TNT footage, and put it to DVD. If I made these into a professional set, would anyone be interested in buying one? Let me know, and if enough people want one, I’ll make a good batch, with liner graphics and notes. I think it’d be cool. I’m not sure what the cost would be, but the price would be no more than 10-15 bucks per set. Let me know what you think…

I\'m saddened by your lack of responses. I was all ready to make a cool Monstervision 3 DVD set.
