well it scared me....anywho....seriously...Im not a big umm...what youd call a "reader" seeing as how its hard to get my attention and keep it....but I did read Stephen King\'s "IT" and was very pleased....that book is the shit :wink:

I have a lot of them that I can\'t think of at the moment....but The Return of the Living Dead by John Russo is really good. It was written as a direct sequel to Night of the Living Dead and written years before they made the movie of the same name. I don\'t know if it is still in print, but I was really impressed by it.
Robert R. McCammon writes some damn good horror novels as well. Often called a King rip-off, I still love just about everything he has done. They Thirst was a creepy book.
I\'ll try and think of some more.

The Exorcist or The Amityville Horror. Both of those books scared the shit outta me. Granted, it was many moons ago. But DEFINITELY far superior to the films.
