I don\'t know if any of you are familar with my site, but I was thinking about getting a message board put in there just for the hell of it. Just to talk about the horror genre in general. My questions are:
1. do you think I should?
2. where do I get a good one?
I had this free message board up there a long time ago, but it was really cheap, I didn\'t like it. It came free with my website package.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, in my opinion, it\'s hard to get people to join a new community when they already belong to one or more forum. I had a forum on my site for quite awhile and it never really had that much traffic. It was fun, and I may add one to my new site (which is launching soon
) but for the most part it was kind of dead there. You could always try it and see what happens. There is a free board you can download and install called [url=\"http://www.phpbb.com/\"]PHPBB Boards[/url]. I installed one on Mikes site ([url=\"http://www.facesofdeathpro.com\"]Faces of Death[/url]) and it works pretty well. Just make sure to put a cool skin on it as I think aesthtics are very important to bringing people in and keeping them there. Let me know if you need any help.

Honestly man, forums never work out. Ecspecially since most of the people who would join the forum go here and it\'d be the same exact thing on both forums and people would just get bored of it.
