Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - jason8844 - 09-21-2005 i recieved this today and dont know whut to do with it, should i use an exacto knife or possible a woodburner to burn it off? what do u guys think Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - HERETIC - 09-21-2005 Get yourself a dremmel.......use one of the sanding stones and CAREFULLY take it off.....you can also try using the white buffing attachment, which may work too. Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - null1 - 09-21-2005 You actually \'may\' be able to peal it off. Yep. Try it. BTW, how did you get your mits on one of those? Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - IbDaToNeGuY - 09-21-2005 i\'m pretty sure he got it from Antboy , Mark . he mailed me one before to paint for him and it had some extra latex on it too . still an awesome mask you made there . wish ya would make more jasons . mike, Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - coreyfeldman - 09-21-2005 Quote:wish ya would make more jasons . Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - null1 - 09-21-2005 I think Justin has the Jason side of things all wrapped up  I have seen latex do that. It\'s usually just latex dripping through a small air pocket in an already cured layer of latex, from a second pour. It\'s happened to me in the past and I was able to peel it off.... Unless it\'s just a bad part of the mold? Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - IbDaToNeGuY - 09-21-2005 well the mask i had was pretty bad and had alot of extra latex all over it . the pieces were were so thick it was like big chunks of caremel on there and when i tried to cut it off , i started to go through the mask so i just left it there and painted over . mike, Need Help (removing Excess Latex) - Hauntmaster9 - 09-21-2005 Looks to me like airpockets in the mold, use a dremel with a cotton bullet or a wheel.
