Opening Night Pics - Soldier48 - 10-27-2005
Well here are some pics from the dressing room Opening night of the Haunted house that I run, we are only open 4 days and all of the proceeds go to charity. We had the Moulage team (They do all of the gore makeup for our Military exercises) come and do the Special Effects makeup for us. Sorry that some of the pics are blurry we had a last minute camera man taking all of the shots.
The picture with LF (That\'s me) and the police was a good one. He was driving around and hearing the Chainsaw and screams so he came driving up, and I was in the middle of the road with my chainsaw running. So he turns on his lights and pulls over. I thought "What the hell... What\'s he going to say" and he says "Holy Shit! That\'s an awesome costume" and he got out to get a pic with me.
I want to have some better shots of my costume taken tonight so hopefully I can post them tommorrow.

Thanks, It looks alot better in the daytime. I went to the Base Exchange (like a little wanna be Wal-mart store on base) in my costume without the apron and mask, and everyone thought I was just really dirty and nasty. One person asked if I was buying clothes and I explained to them that it\'s paint and not dirt. But that\'s what I was looking for. A realistic look to the costume.

dude...is that pig mask made like the one from Saw? I would really like to hear more info on that thing...I love it! Very nice LF costume there and great to hear you guys are having so much fun!

I didn\'t even realize there was a Pigman in Saw, I honestly wasn\'t paying to much attention when I seen that movie. I\'ll have to rent it and watch it again.

I\'ve been working on my costume for over a month now, the Chainsaw took the longest. I couldn\'t have done it without the inspiration and knowledge from everyone on this forum.

I like the make-up/special effects. Out haunted house is named House of nightmares too.
