Resident Evil 4 - kirk myers - 12-03-2005 Just went out to the mall and bought RE4.....ad as far as ive gotten..... This game is kicking total ass!! If you havent bought it yet you need to because its such a sweet game! The game play is just unbelievable. I like how there doing the camera behind the person(whats that 2nd person shooter).....something not done before in the RE games. Anyone else got it yet? Resident Evil 4 - Mask Murderers - 12-03-2005 I got the game for my birthday in mid November as a gift, since I wanted to wait until the PS2 version was released. To be honest, I\'m a Nintendo fan through and through, but I\'m so used to the PlayStation controller on Resident Evil games. That and the fact that it included some bonus stuff... It\'s a fantastic game, definitely. Capcom made some great improvements for this one. Over-the-shoulder aiming is a wonderful addition, as well as the new attache case system. The graphics and characters were very well designed, especially some of the of larger creatures. There\'s plenty of extras to check out, too, atleast on the PS2. This game is long. Considering most of the RE games can be beaten in 1:30:00 to 9:00:00, this one took me nearly twenty hours the first time through on Normal mode. Don\'t get me wrong, I like the fact that there is more to it, but it lacked the puzzle solving feel of the others. I\'m still partial to the preset camera angles, but the over-the-shoulder view can make certain things more intense. Perhaps if there was an option to switch between the two in the next entry into the RE series, that would be cool. It\'s nice to see changes, but it can also alienate diehard fans who loved it the way it was. Anyways, I\'m glad that they kept the walking/running scheme the same (Up-Forward, Down-Backward, Left & Right-Turn), as well as aiming with the right-shoulder button. I\'ve played through the main game three times now, utilizing some of the weapon upgrades and bonus artillery. It\'s pretty cool, but the merchant factor is the only thing that seems really out of place in this series. Atleast he doesn\'t sell ammunition. Enough rambling, but I do love my Resident Evil. I look forward to seeing how the currently in progress RE5 will shape up. I hope that they focus a little more on the puzzle solving aspect this time. Don. Resident Evil 4 - kirk myers - 12-03-2005 I agree 100% on the puzzle solving. And RE5?......ohhh am I syched about this one lol Resident Evil 4 - SPAZ - 12-03-2005 got it the day it came out on Ps2 and still have not played it Resident Evil 4 - The13thDreamShape - 12-03-2005 its a badass game!! EVER.... u get infinite bullets too. Resident Evil 4 - SPAZ - 12-03-2005 Quote:its a badass game!!money???? Resident Evil 4 - The13thDreamShape - 12-03-2005 yea in the game.
