Slasher Asher...you should get something better to do, man. No disrespect intended, but you go on an on about boycotting remakes and shit like that, yet YOU KNOW that they'll be made no matter how many people boycott them. They'll be made no matter how many online petitions are signed. Just GET OVER IT.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndDEFFINITELY WELL SAID, BROTHER!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Start Date/casting Details! - SirMWK - 02-28-2009 Thanks, man. I just get tired of seeing this guy's posts about how he's a remake hater...yet he hasn't seen them to know if they're good or bad, and he's got himself so convinced that it would be impossible for him to like them. Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Start Date/casting Details! - Jason816 - 02-28-2009 Almost like starting to believe your own lies as you convince the cops you didnt kill someone when you indeed had. As if the originals of these films were "Oscar Material" <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> I do feel your pain and they don't seem to respect the orignals at all... These remakes are made for two reasons... To bring modern teens go see them, and for cash...I am, however, excited for this remake... I didn't love any of the Fred films past part 2, so really, how poorly can they possibly do, I mean have you SEEN ANOES parts 5-7? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Remakes can be a hit or miss... Though Zombieween and F13 weren't terrific, I LOVED the TCM remake. Some films deserve a modern, dark, take. I'm betting ANOES is one of them... I know what you mean, that you hate the idea of a remake, but atleast give the movies a chance/look. Some of them aren't half bad, actually.Oh, and for the zillionth time, a remake does not "ruin" the original in any way. And as long as they make money (which they do), they will continue to do them. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Start Date/casting Details! - Slasher Asher - 02-28-2009 <!--quoteo(post=300773:date=Feb 28 2009, 01:31 AM:name=SirMWK)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(SirMWK @ Feb 28 2009, 01:31 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThanks, man. I'm pretty tired of seeing posts of people who support this trend. Movies like Texas Chainsaw massacre or Dawn of the dead(which I have seen) etc never needed to be remade cause the originals were already perfect. If these jackasses need to remake something then choose a movie that sucks so there's a chance of seing some improvements.I didn't use to mind remakes before. In the 80s and the 90s there were some now and then but now they being made all the freakin' time, it was just a question of time until they got on my nerves.<!--quoteo(post=300773:date=Feb 28 2009, 01:31 AM:name=TheChosenOne)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(TheChosenOne @ Feb 28 2009, 01:31 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecHow can you call yourself a "remake hater" when you haven't even seen any of the movies (the remakes, that is)? Cause now the titles of these classics will be associated with the remakes instead of the original classics whose originality and charm made them cult favorites back in the day.<!--quoteo(post=300790:date=Feb 28 2009, 02:44 AM:name=ReellyScary)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(ReellyScary @ Feb 28 2009, 02:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecWell, all things aside.....I hope they don't remake Psycho....The Birds.....Halloween....etc.....atleast some things remain sacred. "whew" <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"banana.gif\" /><!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndThe Birds is up for a remake. Nothing is sacred anymore. Nowadays they can let Uwe Boll remake Citizen Kane if they want to. |
