Halloween is one of the best golly gee willikers movies ever made and Th texas chainsaw massacre had little to no blood and I LOVED IT !! TRICK R TREAT JUST SUX! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() Trick R Treat - Malice - 11-21-2009 I thought this movie was really good. It was really entertaining. It wasn't a horror, although there was some subtle creepy stuff in it. It was like its own genre. Definitely got me in the Halloween mood. Trick R Treat - Michaelantern - 11-21-2009 I thought the movie was defintely a solid "B+" hovering around an "A" were it not for the fact some of the stories had more potential than was realized. With that said the movie is still an instant Halloween classic. The imagery, strong stories (in spite of not meeting their full potential), filming, acting and overall presentation were simply stellar. Definitely had a great throwback feel to the 80's horror movies for me. I see the Creepshow vibe in it (and that's a GOOD thing) but by no means get the Quentin Tarantino comparison used earlier. This was NOT some gritty, f-bomb ridden gorefest it was in fact a SOLID movie. Instead of using gross-outs over scares, "trailer trash" dialogue over good writing and CGI (at least the over-use of) instead of creativity this movie relied on tried and true fundamentals circa those found in classic horror movies from the '80s...the decade that (arguably) was the genre's finest. My personal favorite stories from Trick 'r Treat were The School Bus Massacre and The Virgin (GREAT TWIST on this one). Meet Sam was a cool entry as well and tied things together nicely.I believe Trick 'r Treat will become a yearly Halloween favorite that will be seen over and over again as a staple of the holiday/season on the networks. Trick R Treat - Sawman - 11-21-2009 "I believe Trick 'r Treat will become a yearly Halloween favorite that will be seen over and over again as a staple of the holiday/season on the networks."I won't be wasting my time :/ Trick R Treat - Slasher Asher - 11-21-2009 Heard mixed things about this one. Might see it myself just to find out what all the hype is about. Even if it's maybe bad it is good to see there are some horror filmmakers out there who do something else than just remakes.
