Fun With Photoshop

So I\'ve been toying with photoshop to make a lightsaber image. The picture is just of some guy holding a sword but I "altered" it hehe. It\'s my first attempt, whatdoyathink???





and here\'s my 2nd attempt. The blue saber is a little off there was one thing I forgot to do to it but by the time I remembered it I had finished the green saber and flattened the layers and it was too much of a pain to go back.




and finally the 3rd one I did today. I think I nailed it with this one. I made the blade cores white so I think it looks more "movie accurate" and I adjusted the range on the outer glow just right. I think I finally found the sweet spot

Not bad. The only thing that stands out is the lack of a taper. Look at some screen shots, or these images and you\'ll see what I\'m talking about. The beam need to be wider near the handle.
