I have some questions about Fullers Earth. I'm gonna use it to age and weather an item. I know it has cosmetic applications but, is that the same type/grade i would use to dirty up an item ?....also, one place sells it in different colors. all I'm going for is a dirty, dusty look. (not sure color is what I need).Like anything else one looks up on the internet....some say it's easy to use and others say it's very difficult to use because of it's VERY FINE texture. I read that dry paint brushes are the best way to apply it(?)I'm trying to get as much info as I can about application methods....your experiences....or any tips, tricks or other info anyone on here can give would greatly appreciated. Thanks, Reelly ScaryP.S. if anyone can also reccommend place to purchase or post a link to what I should get, that'd be great. Thanks again.

It's what a lot of cat litter is. Is also used to get the red dye out of agricultural diesel. Other than that i can't help much

If you were in the UK, I'd say buy wilkos cheap cat litter. I've no idea what the us equivalent is although I'd start with cheap kitty litter and see what happens.
