1987 Predator Bust

i came across this 1987 predator bust just recently, just by dumb luck and wanted to do an overhaul on the whole thing. any of you guys think that it is worth it? is this a rare bust? i think with some new paint, some dreads, and a shoulder blaster i would have a pretty sweet piece. the thing smells like smoke big time. i think that will be my first thing to do on it is fumigation.if you have any comments about it or where i could pick up dreads, or a shoulder blaster (i dont know what that gun is called)LOL, i would sure appreciate it. i think i am going to ask Monte Ward to paint it for me, as soon as i pay off my other pieces from him.the other pics are of harry inmans fiji mermaid. pretty weird, looks like something captain spaulding would have in his museum of monsters and madmen. fried chicken and gasoline anyone?mike<a href=\"http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h124/msharrow1414/\" target=\"_blank\">http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h124/msharrow1414/</a>

Yeah, I'd say it's fairly rare. Mostly due to it's age. I believe they were offered through Morris, and I've seen them overhauled before. I am pretty sure that is the Distortions Unlimited Collectors Series Predator bust. You could also buy the deluxe hands and gauntlets. For predator quills, dreads, and what not, just check ebay. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny for the dreads though...take care,Tommy

I've seen these on ebay from time to time, they never went for much money but they're still nice. After a re-paint I'm sure it'll look killer. If you want personal opinion as to who should re-do it I would go with Peter Murphy.
