Ahhh.......nostalgia, no?
My father lovingly bought an original one of these for me back as a child. It was given good love and was habitually worn, torn, and eventually displaced by a line of authentic ones later in life. Regardless, the love for the original has never been fully replaced in my heart.
Thus, a recent trip to eBay has replenished this gem into my collection.
In a day and age where message boards like this one are bombarded with filmfans and collectors dying for on-screen prop authenticity while children and pre-teens alike scream for more CGI in new-age series reboots, I hope there is at least one old-school, thirty-something, 1980's horror fan in the NIGHTOWL community who can appreciate the simplicity, yet awesome vintage nature of my original childhood love for Halloween:
It's like I just went to Woolworth's as a 7 year old.
Happy Halloween Everyone....
