Saddens me when i have to leave negitive feedback but sometimes the community needs to know.
The \'pretty lady\' mask i bought is super TINY, borderline "tween"sized and no way it can be from the original molds. I cant even barley get it on my head let alone the face of it does not even cover my chin/jaw or sides of my face.
The mask is suppose to fit a 24" head (im just over 23.25) and this mask would fit a 22-22.5" head with a small face at best, and this is with extra room from the 1.5" of leather stitching joing the two havles. The details in the scuplt are washed out and it\'s obvious this is a new mold made from the smaller master. i have seen and tried on an earlier number in person to verify i know all this is fact..
This also means the limited run of 20 means nothing.
(not that being limited played any major factor to me)
But for others buying the mask based on the head size it\'s listed to fit and/or the limited edition factor...
It was 5 weeks past the turn around with no proper communication and i didn\'t care.
The paint is sub par and rushed and i wouldn\'t have cared.
The eye lashes and eye brows fell off right out of the box and i wouldn\'t have cared
And it was crammed into a small box and i still wouldn\'t have cared.
Why i\'m leaving neg feedback is because to make a new mold and sell a mask that is this tiny and still listing it as the original size and mold? And to top things off i didn\'t even get any response from him when i addressed this? Plus everything else that was bad about this mask.
Can\'t let this one go...
I should just file a charge back, but it\'s not worth the hassle for the $ amount. I\'m going to chaulk it up and move on...
Just be forwarned.. And any PL mask that is higher than #9 or 10 is problably the kids size..
James i know your new to mask making, but practices like this will kill your rep for sure. It was a great sculpt, but what good is talent when mixed with poor ethics?
