Death Mask Or Creep

Hey everybody, I\'m new.
I\'m not a collector - but I\'m going to buy either the Death Mask or the Creep, and am having trouble deciding which to buy. Does anyone have any side by side comparison shots, or things to consider when choosing? I\'m not a horror movie buff by any means, but the "whitey" mask just makes me laugh my hiney off every time because it\'s the creepiest, most disgusting mask you could come up with - it\'s the absolute perfect mask to prank someone with. It\'s so hideous it\'s just hilarious, an obvious choice for scaring people.
I\'m only going to be using this to scare the Sheep out of coworkers, friends, and neighbors for years to come. I bought a Don Post 2006 a few years back, and it\'s just so big that it probably solicits a laugh from the victim before a scream.
Some of the pictures of the Death Mask looks flesh colored/yellowish, but the pictures of Justin Mabry wearing them look more whitish and dead like I would hope for.
Since I\'m not a collector I\'m also sort of considering the new TOTS economically priced mask that just came out, but I don\'t want to spend another $60 if it doesn\'t look movie authentic.
Does anybody have any advice for what to consider while deciding which mask to purchase?

Masks of today when dusted and powdered(cornstarch) monthly will last a lifetime. Make sure you wipe the inside with a damp cloth after use and let it dry before powdering..Keep it in a temperature controlled room stuffed or displayed properly away from sunlight or strong lights.

I have a Creep on order. I switched between the two for a while, but it comes down to what you are looking for. The Death mask is a very cool and authentic vintage tribute. Consider the things about it that are different and if they are going to be an eye sore for you later (the neck for instance). Ultimately, if you want an H1, go for The Creep. It\'s accurate, has a great Kirk face, and has a lot of NIGHTOWL character to it.

Neither........IMO.........go with a Maniac....it has more costume appeal then both of those mask.
Plus its your money so buy what you want not what other people like or approve of or what they think.
