    Hello all...
I just got back from a weekend of filming...I was in a commercial for beer, but none was to be seen at the shoot Sad anyway I was wearing 70lbs of platemail...doing battle scenes for 13 hours....beat the crap out of me....I drank 8 bottles of water...big ones...and at the end of it...I could barely get the junk off of me...still a bit knackered today, but Im fuctional .Im not an actor, and never wanted, nor do I want to be one,I have however developed a healthy respect for actors who take physical roles....take,, after take after take...it gets fairly irksome. My friend is a blacksmith and the crew needed another large male to be kitted out, that and I own most of the armour due to bartering with Robb (said blacksmith) so I was opted in!
    anyway here they are.....
nice cheesey one to start...before the fun began...
Oh yeah, also enclosed, I got me toe a bit buggered in a fight scene..it popped out between the hinges on me sollerets..and I didnt even realise...only when I woke up this morning it was like this.....actually has deeped in colour since, so I thought Id take a few snaps for reference...dosent hurt that much funnily enough!
    enjoy... :whistling:

Wow. Must have been a pain getting that armor off to take a bunch of leaks, what with all the water you drank.

That looked great fun! one of those great experiances that only come along once in a while!
nice one colin, great pics.I feel your pain though! I was once in a british tv programe called \'The Bill\' a police drama and in this one episode i played a funeral director (which was my profession at the time) and had to carry this 20 stone guy out of a car on to a stretcher and into the back of the private ambulance, not so bad? the director did like 20 odd takes to get it from all angles and then planes were flying over to low and fucking with the sound track! i could\'nt walk for days after or stand up straight!!

Jeeze, what an awesome experiance Colin, I know that had to have just been incredable, what I wouldn\'t give LOL!! Damn cool pics too, you know in the 15th century, bottled water was a very highly prized comodity. Nice job with the toe too LOL! Oops!
