I have a few no-face blanks I am in the process of cutting right now and I will be base coating them soon. Any suggestions of what brand? I thought model spray paint might be good since it is meant for plastic. And most Krylon paints are good on plastic. What color is a good base? I am looking for a slightly yellowed off white, but most of what I find is eggshell more so than yellow.

I will base coat, then detail with acrylic wash etc. What is best to seal these things with? I saw some Krylon Crystal Clear satin acrylic spray. Will that work. I don\'t want my masks to have too much gloss.

If you have any suggestions or success stories with certain brands, I\'m open to hearing \'em. ESPECIALLY what is best for spraying to seal them when I am done with all my detail work.
    Thanks all!

Well, the color would depend on which mask you are painting . And to seal it up, a regular clear coat. If you are looking for a seal, although a flat, non shiney finish, Krylon Matte Finish spray paint is awesome.

I \'ll leave the rest to the pros out there Tongue

Yes. I would go with krylon. I like the "almond" color the best but, that also depends on what kinda hockey you are paintin.

I would use Krylon Fusion White for a primer then after it dries, use Krylon Ivory Satin for the base coat (NOT regular Krylon Ivory). The Krylon Ivory Satin has the perfect part3 color to it, it has a slight yellowish tint to it but not to yellow. And if you want it more yellow, just put on a light coat of yellow oxide acrylic paint untill you get the desired look.
