You know the guys here with obsessive eyes know what's up with a hockey mask, so don't fret man, it's great. The only thing I would change is to yellow it a bit, but that may just be the lighting, and it's not a hard thing to do anyway. Good job buddy. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"B)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" />
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndYeah i think it is the lighting as it does have a good yellow tinge to it, a wise man said this to me today and made a good point.'With regard to your colouring on your hockey masks, the thing is there isn't going to be an exactly right or wrong way to colour it. Think of it this way, when you go to Curry's and see a huge array of televisions all playing the same channel, the pic looks different on each and every one. They are all set to slightly different levels of contrast and hue etc and the standard of setting is different from model to model. They are all new tv's and are all set to the standard factory settings, but all the pics differ. What one person says is right will be someone else's idea of wrong because they have always seen the film on their own tv with different settings. The second factor is how your camera picks up the colour. In the photo, have you lost some of the finish, some of the yellowing, brightness etc? On top of that, everyone's monitor will show your photo at slightly different contrast/hue from one monitor to another.'Thanks for the comments Adam <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Very true, Ruste, but let's leave my monitor out of this one.. I just got a new one and he's doing a great job hehe. But that's what I always try to remember, and I know a guy like you knows better than to use almond spray paint for a 3 and that be the end of it. I could take my Crash 3 outside and with the wrong settings make it looks very much white. Or, in turn, I could take them inside on the wrong settings again and make it look piss yellow. But that's the beauty of that color, and the reason it's hard to trust the film as a base to paint from because the lighting seems different in almost every scene.Anyway, you know you're doing a great job man. Your attention to detail is sufficient and you have only gotten better with every mask you've made.

I just had to post these pics that capture the detail in Darren's shower scene Hockey Mask. It's gotta be one of the best one's i have ever seen or owned. I love darren's paint ups, his attention to detail is outstanding.. I just compared this Hockey Mask to Crash's part 3 and the colour of the mask is almost identical! You just gotta see these things in the flesh!! I think these pics came out great and show the detail really well. Compare it to the shower scene... I don't see a nat's dick of a difference!!!!...Great work Darren!!...
