my friend is moving in a new house soon and he asked me to dress his room in Smallville and i've already got the walls designed but need help with coming up on how to make one wall look like rock . i'm going for the scene when clark falls into the cave and finds out alot of who he is and i'm wanting to make a rock like wall and paint the drawings on the wall as well like seen in the show . would i use some kind of hard foam or something ? does it spray on or is it like a mixure i apply onto the wall and let dry ? mike,

They make faux rock you can use, though it might be expensive. You could use stucco and sculpture it out the way you want.

thanks a bunch . i think he's wanting to go kinda cheap on it but i can always paint it to look more "real" but mainly just need a basic thing to work on that can go on the wall pretty easy . mike,

Hmm...well, there is that foam in the cans you can get. It dries pretty hard and could be carved and sculpted. Not sure how much it would cost. I guess it depends on how many cans you use.
