What Is Your Favorite Grocery Store Blood Recipe?

I used Karo syrup with some water and food coloring. It beaded up too much and I had to keep adding to it.Is there something I sould add to it to make it run better, or do you have another recipe?Pics would be great if you have them.Pat

add glycerin to your mixture. It will give it a better stiffness and keep it from beading up...or the cheap way...knox gelatin....take care,Tommy

You can swap out dishwashing liquid for the Photo-Flo (any clear or whitish dishwashing liquid will keep it from beading up). And try a little bit of green to avoid pink or orange-y blood.

photo flo cannot be used when blood is going to be near the eyes, mouth etc though....take care,Tommy

My favorite is tha lady in front of me with all the coupons and sale papers.I use kayro with red and green dye never blue it makes purple and looks like Jam.Red and Green the more green you add the browner it gets. The best thing to use is FD&C red #40 and Emerald Green in powder form the green has a metallic look that looks like the Iron look blood has when it's dried.I add detergent if it's not going in someones mouth to keep the beading away.Justin
