i just got my power back on lastnight after being in the dark for a week . i'm in louisville , ky and we ended up getting the left overs from hurricane Ike and we had a massive windstorm of winds up to 75 mph which knocked down powerlines , branches everywhere , huge trees spliting in half and coming up from the ground , to even falling on houses and cars . i know some of you live in AL , TN , KY , OH , IN , and IL and just wanted to make sure everyone was ok . i went out in the storm and took some pics of the damage that was happening until some people drove by and told me tha tit wasn't safe to be out just yet but i'll get the pics posted a little later today and all of it was within a 3 block distance . there were about 301,000 people without power when the storm was over and with all the help from people from out of state helping LG&E we are now at only 43,000 people left . it was crazy and we lost everything in the frige. since we didn't have a gene but we got through it ok . hope everyone is alright mike,
