Well long story short, I\'m waiting on a Apron for a long time and I probably won\'t get it in time for our Haunted House premier (The Damn postal service in my area blows). So I need to make my own Apron as a Back up. Could anyone please post pics of there apron, or Dimensions as to how cut the material? I have no clue where to start :o , and any info would be great. Also I need to know how you guys make the apron look old and worn...
Please Help me on this one.

Here\'s mine, going to weather it some more still. I use an acrylic paint/water mix in a spray bottle. I also put another strip of fabric around the front and tie it in the back.

    Thanks FeAr HiMsElF
So did you just eye ball it when you cut the Material? I think I screwed mine up a few minutes ago. But hopefully the other one will show up in the mail.

I\'m surprised no one else replied to this topic. I guess its harder then I thought to get into the secret world of Apron making.........

Yeah, I eyeballed it more or less while watching the Chainsaw Redux on the DVD trying to get it accurate. It was tough because I didn\'t make it to fit me, I made it to fit me or whoever while bulked up with padding. A few times I actually padded myself up and put it on to see if it fit right, before cutting.

    Good luck!

Yeah that would be the smart way to do it, I did stuff a pillow in the gut area. So what\'s this Chainsaw Redux DVD youre talking about?? I think I\'m going to have to see this one. Thanks again for the help. I just pulled it out of the Washer and I took it into my garage to paint. I know no one at the Haunted House will be able to tell it\'s not 100% screen acurate but it\'s more of a personal mission to me. I think alot of people on this site know what I\'m talking about.

Yeah go to WallMart and get some burlap its like $1.37 a yard, buy two yards and freehand it. Pick up a can of black spray paint, and hit the edges with it to get that dirty look. Below is one i made for GuitarMaster. It should be shipped Tomar dude.

The Chainsaw Redux is a documentary on the making of the movie. It\'s on the 2nd disc of the special edition TCM remake DVD. In my opinion it\'s worth the price of the set itself.

Also, if you decide to go the route of burlap, Home Depot has 8ft by 8ft pieces for $4.00 each.

I like how burlap looks worn when you cut it. But I bought some Khaki colored Canvas from Wal-Mart and I\'m going to see how it turns out.

I bought that 2 disk set when R Lee Ermey came to our Base to visit, but ever since he autographed the Crime Scene photos inside I really haven\'t messed with it. I\'m going to have to look at the other disk.

Thanks for all of the help everyone. If the Canvas doesn\'t turn out I may just get some burlap.

Watch after all of this work the Good Apron I\'m waiting for will probably show up.. One time I waited 1 month for a Priority Package! I don\'t know what the deal is with the postal system around here.

Hey thanks Clint! I like them all! I finished my apron today, but I had to rush to the Haunted House that I was volunteering at (not mine), mine starts next week. But I wanted to get in the mood and have some fun. I\'ll post pics if I can find time. Thanks for all of your help everyone.
